I think this episode had a lot of potential. But I don't think this is how it should have ended. Why did the cult of Skaro have to go against Dalek Sec?! They could have lived in peace, but that's just not what Daleks do.
Summary of this episode HERE
This episode gets a scariness rating of 1. Daleks, a Dalek-Human hybrid, pig slaves, and human "shells" that turn into Dalek-humans(a bit of timelord gets mixed in too).
Things I like about this episode:
When Martha uses metal poles to conduct the lightning strike to the elevator so it kills the pig slaves. Finally she does something clever.
When The Doctor holds on to the lightning rod when the gamma ray hits, and makes the Dalek-Humans part Timelord.
I think this is the only episode that The Doctor actually helps the Daleks.(I don't think he should do it in the future... or the past.)
Woohoo! The Doctor saves the world again!
Things I don't like about this episode:
When the cult of Skaro imprisons Dalek Sec because he's not a "Pure" Dalek. This episode would have been so cool if the Dalek humans were good and The Doctor found them a planet to live on. Then The Doctor would never have to fight the Daleks again.
When the Daleks kill Dalek Sec.
Of course a Dalek does an "emergency temporal shift" to escape The Doctor. Again! Now he'll have to face them another time.
Awesome quotes from this episode:
Dalek Sec: What is that sound?
The Doctor: Ah. Well. Now. That would be me. Hello! Surprise! Boo! Etcetera.
Dalek Sec: Doctor.
Dalek Sec: Observe humanity. For all their faults they have such courage.
Martha: We worked it out—there's Dalekanium on the mast. And it's good to see you too, by the way.
The Doctor: Oh, come here! hugs Martha as the elevator closes. See? Never waste time on a hug.
Dalek Sec: My Daleks, just understand this; if you choose death and destruction, then death and destruction will choose you. (Dalek Sec is smart)
Dalek Sec: You... have betrayed me!
Dalek Thay: You told us to imagine.. and we imagined your irrelevance.
The Doctor: Daleks are bad enough at any time, but right now they're vulnerable. And that makes them more dangerous than ever.
Martha Jones: Do you reckon it's gonna work, those two?
The Doctor: I don't know. Anywhere else in the universe I might worry about them, but New York- it's what this city's good at. Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses and maybe the odd pig-slave-Dalek-mutant-hybrid, too.
Martha Jones: [laughs] The pig and the showgirl.
Dalek Thay: You will die, Doctor. At the beginning of a new age.
Dalek Jast: Planet Earth will become New Skaro.
The Doctor: Oh, and what a world! With anything just the slightest bit different ground into the dirt. That's Dalek Sec; don't you remember? The cleverest Dalek ever, and look what you've done to him. Is that your new Empire? Hmmm? Is this the foundation for a whole new civilisation?

Daleks In Manhatten Season 3 Episode 4
Sorry I haven't written a review in a while. also this is the first story in the new series to be written by a woman.
Here is the summary.
Sooo, the Daleks again. They survived from the last time by doing an "emergency temporal shift", and I guess they ended up in 1930. So the Daleks are using the Empire state building for what?? And are they suggesting that it was build because the Daleks needed it?
This episode gets a scariness rating of 1.5. The Daleks, creepy pig slaves that were human, and a human Dalek.
Things I like about this episode:
They went from new new york to new York!
The Doctor is really awesome! He made a DNA scanner thing from scratch from things in 1930! He's so cool!!
The Dalek human is pretty cool, but kinda creepy at the same time.
Things I don't like about this episode:
Mr. Diagoras. He's pretty messed up, he says he wants to rule the city no matter what it takes. He's more of a Dalek then a Human.
The Daleks. Like The Doctor says "They survive. They always survive while I lose everything."
I Really don't like the pig slaves, they're scary. They remind me of the pig in the Aliens of London.
Awesome quotes from this episode:
Dalek Caan: This day is ending. Humankind is weak; you shelter from the darkness. And yet... you have built all this.
Mr. Diagoras: That's progress. Gotta move with the times, or you get left behind.
Dalek Caan: My planet is gone. Destroyed in a Great War. Yet versions of this city stand throughout history. The human race always continues.
Mr. Diagoras: We've had wars. I've been a soldier myself, and I swore then I'd survive. No matter what.
Dalek Caan: You have rare ambition.
Mr. Diagoras: I'm gonna run this city, whatever it takes. By any means necessary.
Dalek Caan: You think like a Dalek.
Mr. Diagoras: I'll take that as a compliment.
The Doctor: They survived, they always survive, while I lose everything...
Tallulah: The metal thing? What was it?
The Doctor: It's called a Dalek. And it's not just metal, it's alive.
Tallulah: You're kidding me.
The Doctor: Do I look like I'm kidding? Inside that shell, there's a creature born to hate... whose only thought is to destroy everything and everyone that isn't a Dalek too. It won't stop until it's killed every human being alive.
Tallulah: But if that's not a human being, that kinda' implies... it's from outer space.
[beat]
Tallulah: Yet again, that's a no with the kidding, oy.
Dalek Caan: We are the only four daleks in existence. So the species must evolve to survive. A life outside the shell. The children of Skaro will walk again! (He did he say walk *again*? Is that suggesting that the daleks used to be different?)
[as Mr Diagoras is being brought to Dalek Sec]
Dalek Thay: [gets in the way] Halt! This action contradicts Dalek imperative.
Dalek Jast: [also gets in the way] Daleks are supreme! Humans are weak!
Dalek Sec: But there are millions of humans and only four of us. If we are supreme, why are we not victorious?
[Dalek Thay and Dalek Jast look at each other]
Dalek Sec: The Cult of Skaro was created by the Emperor for this very purpose: to imagine new ways of survival.
Dalek Thay: But we must remain pure!
Dalek Sec: No, Dalek Thay. Our purity has brought us to extinction! We must adapt to survive. You have all made sacrifices and now I will sacrifice myself, for the greater cause, for the future of Dalek kind.
Martha Jones: You can't experiment on people, it's insane. It's inhuman!
Dalek: We are not human.
Tallulah: Hey, you're lucky, though. You got yourself a forward-thinking guy, with that hot potato in the sharp suit.
Martha Jones: Oh, he's not - We're not - together.
Tallulah: Oh sure you are! I've seen the way you look at him, it's obvious.
Martha Jones: Not to him.
Tallulah: Oh! I should have realized. He's into musical theatre, huh? What a waste.
Foreman: So these, uh, these new bosses. What's their names?
Mr. Diagoras: I think you could say they're from "out of town."
Foreman: Italians?
Mr. Diagoras: Bit further than that.
Foreman: How much further?
Mr. Diagoras: Beyond your imagination.
Martha: I'm so glad to see you.
The Doctor: Yeah well you can kiss me later. You too Frank, if you want.
Martha: Doctor, I think you'd better get back here. Doctor!
The Doctor: Actually, good point.
Martha: They're following you.
The Doctor: I noticed that. Right then. Martha, Frank, Solomon.
Martha: What?
The Doctor: Em... basically... Run!
Solomon: We got stockbrokers, we got a lawyer. But you're the first doctor. Place gets classier by the day
Dalek Hybrid: [final line] I am a human Dalek. I am your future!
