Gridlock Season 3 Episode 3

Sorry I didn't write a review yesterday. Here's one today!

I wonder what the Face of Boe was talking about when he said "you are not alone" to The Doctor. Just wait until the end of this season!

This episode gets a scariness rating of 1. Martha almost gets eaten by Macra, a big face in a jar, creepy people selling "moods", and a cat who's after The Doctor.(but still not too scary.)

Summary of this episode.

Things I like about this episode:

Yeah! The Doctor Saves New Earth again!!

When The Doctor Jumps down From car to car on the motorway and says he's from the "Motorway foot patrol". Also if you look closely(and can read Chinese) in the car with the Chinese girls, on the poster on the wall it says Bad Wolf(in Chinese). By the way, I can't read Chinese, it says it in the summary.

Things I don't like about this episode:

Novice Hame. She still creeps me out. It is good that she's not using humans for experimentation any more.

When Martha gets kidnapped. It seems that whenever The Doctor turns his back something bad happens.

When The Face of Boe dies. But by sacrificing himself he saves a whole bunch of people.

Awesome quotes from this episode:

Martha: Are they selling drugs?
The Doctor: I think they're selling moods.
Martha: Same difference.

Martha: You traveled five miles in twelve years?
Milo: I think this one's a bit slow.

Cheen: All waste products are recycled as food.
Martha: (throws food on ground) Okay.

The Doctor: Look after this. I love that coat. Janis Joplin gave me that coat.

Brannigan: This Martha, she must mean a lot to you.
The Doctor: I was too busy showing off.

Novice Hame: (about the bliss virus) It killed the world in seven minutes flat.

Valerie Brannigan: He's completely insane!
Thomas Kincade Brannigan: That, and a bit magnificent.

Face of Boe: But know this , Time Lord, you are not alone.

The Doctor: New New York can start again. And they've got Novice Hame. Just what every city needs, cats in charge.

The Doctor: How about another planet?
Martha Jones: Can we go to yours?
The Doctor: Nah, there's plenty of other places.
Martha Jones: Come on, though. I mean "Planet of the Time Lords". That's gotta be worth a look. What's it like?
The Doctor: It's beautiful, yeah... The sky's burnt orange, with the citadel enclosed in a mighty glass dome, shining under the twin suns. Beyond that, the mountains go on forever. Slopes of deep red grass, capped with snow.
Martha Jones: Can we go there?
[pause
The Doctor: Nah, where's the fun for me? I don't want to go home.

The Doctor: You've been driving for two months?
Thomas Kincade Brannigan: Do I look like a teenager? We've been driving for 12 years now.
The Doctor: [in disbelief] Sorry?
Thomas Kincade Brannigan: Yeah, started out as newly weds. Feels like yesterday.
Valerie Brannigan: Feels like 12 years to me.

The Doctor: Novice Hane!
[he hugs her] [Pushes her away]
The Doctor: No, hold on get off, last time we met you were breeding humans for experimentation!

The Doctor: I lied to you, 'cause I liked it. I could pretend, just for a bit, I could imagine they were still alive underneath the burnt orange sky. I'm not just a Time Lord: I'm the last of the Time Lords. The Face of Boe was wrong. There's no one else.
Martha Jones: What happened?
The Doctor: There was a war. A Time War. The last great Time War. My people fought a race called the Daleks for the sake of all creation, and they lost. They lost. Everyone lost. They're all gone now, my family, my friends, even that sky. Ah, you should have seen it, that old planet. The second sun would rise in the south, the mountains would shine. The leaves on the trees were silver. When they caught the light every morning, they lit the forest on fire. We always had...
